not the least of which is the note-taking ability that online poker
allows. Note-taking software, which is part of most major online poker
programs, enables pros to efficiently locate and attack preferred
targets. Just as the pros can do it, so can you.
How Note-Taking Works in Online Poker
When you are playing at a live poker table and observe something about
an opponent, all you can do is catalog it and hope the knowledge comes
into play sometime during your session. If it doesn’t, it will probably
be lost by the next time you come into the casino. When playing online
poker, all you have to do is click on the
notes section of the opponent you are observing. A window will open up
where you can write down all the information you have gathered. Next
time you face this opponent, a symbol will let you know you have notes
on them. Just click to open up the notes section and all the
information on that opponent will be right there for you to exploit.
Using Note-Taking to Your Advantage in Online Poker
Be willing to consistently revise and add to your notes on a player.
One specific event may not tell you much, but if you can put together a
pattern, you can really get an opponent’s number. Once you’ve done
that, add them to your buddy list. Then you can follow them to
whichever table they play on and pick on them to your heart’s content.

Don’t worry about an opponent realizing that you are following them
around. In the first place, most players are not that observant. In the
second, many players multi-table, and the opponent may just assume that
you always play many tables. Finally, in the end, there’s not that much
they can do about it. Still, try to find several weak players to

altogether.
